Company Quality and Environment Policy

The Company is committed to providing complete customer satisfaction and to ensuring that all internal arrangements and practices are suitable for that purpose. The Environmental Policy is to maintain an effective system, appropriate to the scale and environmental impact of its activities and services, as Vehicle Terminal operators/managers and shipping agents.

In addition, the Company will comply with relevant applicable legislation, regulations and other requirements to which the Company subscribes. This commitment extends to the continual improvement of Quality and Environmental performance together with the prevention of pollution.

In order to demonstrate the commitment of the Management in achieving this result, the Company has implemented a integrated Quality/Environment System, to meet the requirements of ISO 9001: 2000 and ISO 14001, providing the framework for setting and reviewing quality and environmental objectives and targets.

In accordance with this policy, the objectives are:
a) to supply services that consistently conform to expectations and the needs of the customers,
b) to ensure that inspection requirements are determined and satisfied throughout all phases of the activities,
c) to develop and maintain quality and environmental awareness amongst all management and personnel.

The aim is not to remove the flexibility, which is needed on occasions, but to provide a medium of documentation and communication relevant to specific contracts. This will ensure that the work undertaken can be monitored, by the Quality/Environment Representative, in order to confirm compliance with the Contract and Standards.

It is the responsibility of Directors and Managers to ensure that the policy is communicated and understood by all personnel engaged in tasks which can influence Quality/Environment and that they are aware of their obligations under the Standards and are provided with adequate, suitable resources.

The Quality/Environment Representative is authorised to maintain and monitor the Integrated Quality/Environment System and to report to the Company's Management Review Meeting on the continued effectiveness, suitability and achievement of Quality/Environment objectives.

The Company is aware of its responsibility to provide adequate resources for the control of the Integrated Management System including, where appropriate, competence, equipment, technology and finance. Maximum effort is directed towards providing satisfactory services whilst ensuring that any problems that do arise are resolved in an expedient and professional manner.

The Company's Integrated Management System policy, procedures and where appropriate Quality/Environmental instructions, are documented, controlled, implemented, maintained and communicated to all relevant employees of the Company and is available to the public on request.
