GBA Group receives Toyota Motor Europe Vehicle Logistics Partner Award

In appreciation for an excellent performance on service levels and quality, G.B. Terminals, part of the GBA Group of Companies have been awarded the 2009 “Toyota Motor Europe Vehicle Logistics Partner Award” at a presentation ceremony held in Brussels on Thursday 29th April for the management of their vehicle distribution terminal at Grimsby.

The award was presented to Captain Sam Judah MBE, Managing Director and Captain Stephen Bland, Operations Director of the GBA Group by Mr. Tadashi Arashima, President and CEO of Toyota Motor Europe.

The GBA Group are one of the market leaders in the provision of Finished Vehicle Logistics in the UK with their head office based at the port of Grimsby.

Speaking of the award, Captain Judah said “This is a true testament to our dedicated staff who have continuously worked very hard to deliver the highest standards during what has been a very difficult year in our industry.”

This is the 4th consecutive year that GBA has received this award for the Terminal operation which they have managed since it first opened in 1993. GBA manages import and export vehicle terminals throughout the UK for a wide range of other motor manufacturers offering terminal management, PDI and enhancement services and vehicle transportation.
