    The GBA story began as we open our first office operating as Shipping Agents.

    We diversified into Vehicle Handling and specialised Ro-Ro Vessel Agency Services.

    We add vehicle terminal management and specialist stevedoring to our list of services.

    Our Liner Agency division is launched.

    The GBA head office opens in Grimsby.

    We expand into freight forwarding operations.

  • 2002

    A whole new range of vehicle services is introduced to include PDI, workshops and bodyshops.

    We celebrate the one millionth Toyota car handled through our facilities.

    Our state-of-the-art Distribution Centre in Killingholme, Grimsby opens.

    - We also expand into India with our first office opening there.

    GBA is named ‘UK Port Agent of the Year’.

    - We expand into Turkey.

    The two millionth Volkswagen vehicle passes though the GBA terminal.

    - Our Technical Centre in Newcastle opens.

    GBA Managing Director Captain Sam Judah is awarded an MBE for services to business.

    - Our car transportation services launches.

    - We win Best ‘European Terminal Award.’

    The two millionth Toyota vehicle passes through Grimsby.

    July 1st 2012 we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the GBA Group.

    A £26 million new Grimsby River Terminal is officially launched – one of the largest projects in the port of Grimsby’s history.

    Double celebrations as we receive excellence awards for ‘Terminal Ports Operator’ and ‘Vehicle Processing Centre’.
